If you could tell your younger writing self anything, what would it be?
To publish something on Amazon sooner. I was scared. Scared my work would be stolen. Scared that I would be ridiculed. Scared I would be rejected (which I was once). In 2016 I just said "Crap it!" and decided to plunge in head first. It was the most liberating thing I ever did.
How did publishing your first book change your process of writing?
Gave me a bolus of confidence and made me realize I can do it. Despite the scrawny goblin in my head shrieking at me that I had better hurry and get more out there if I want to keep up.
What was the best money you ever spent as a writer?
I do not understand the question... What is money? Am I supposed to be making that?
What authors did you dislike at first but grew into?
... I have entered a field where this answer could very well slice my throat clean open. I ain't gonna do it!
