What is the first book that made you cry?
I'm sure it was something from Alcott, her books make me blubber like an overgrown baby.
What is the most unethical practice in the publishing industry?
Couldn't speak for the publishing industry since I didn't use it per se. But I can say something from a marketing standpoint. Fake ratings/reviews. I look at a book that has several 1-4 star honest reviews, articulated and politely worded. But they are drowned out with all these blank 5 stars or copy-paste generic reviews with 5 stars. It is annoying.
Does writing energize or exhaust you?
Both. If I am upset or emotional I bleed my feelings out onto the keyboard and resurface an hour or 2 later renewed and electric. Other times I sit down and pour out my entire being and crawl away several hours later a dried and crumbling sponge
What are common traps for aspiring writers?
Thinking that their skeletal has to be perfect. The bones can be crappy and weak, as long as there is a fleck of meat on em. You can always go back with pins and screws and strengthen them up before filling it out with juicy, rich flesh.
